I was born and raised in Kentucky, and sent most of the first 50 years of my life there. Most of the past ten years though, has been at my wife’s place in the Philippines. (Use caution accepting friend requests on Facebook from strange people; I got a wife out of one, though she did help me quit smoking.)
My first serious attempt at writing came in the early 90s with the short story, I Took a Walk. That story was rejected. I have been writing off and on ever since. Some have been worth rewriting and are getting published, but many were never finished or just bad ideas. I started publishing on Kindle Vella and when that closed moved on to Substack, Reamstories and Patreon, where I have flash fictions, serials, essays, and things that I am rewriting that will get more editing then be published as books.
