Donald of Mars now at 90 episode and still going

I started my serial Donald of Mars on Kindle Vella over two years ago and and move it to Ream Stories, and then to Substack and Patreon when they closed Kindle Vella. It is now up to 90 episodes and still going. The idea was to hit a lot closer to what it will really be like living in a new multi national colony when we start building one. There was and still is a lot of miss understanding of everything that it is going to take. The people there will be living underground. Few will ever set a foot on the actual surface, even construction will be done from a desk operating remotes. Plants will be on every wall and any other place that you can fit one, and the work week is likely to be closer to 80 hours rather than 40. And on top of all that, every person there will have to hit the gym every single day for couple hours of hard work out. All that takes a lot of discipline that most people do not have and will not make it, and therefore are forced to return to earth after a single 2.2 year tour.

Donald is my fictional construction worker turned businessman after completing has first tour, doing everything he can to build up his life and business on a Mars colony. He find that his contact from keeping health and doing odd jobs are even more important to him to getting a business up and running than his knowledge of construction. But all thought the story I have him doing working on the task that have to be done all the time if a person is going to be a colonist there to give people a better idea of what it takes.
