Welcome to the New Year

This first post of the New Year is mostly for the other writers, as I am offering a new service to them.

Showing verses telling, using passive voice instead of active voice, and info dumping are things many writers struggle with. If these are your problem areas, I can help you with some of that, if you want, even though my own writing is far from perfect in this regard. You can send me just a few pages if you just want to get an idea of what to work on, or it can be the entire manuscript, and I go through it paragraph by paragraph. Flash fiction of full novels, or anything in between, whatever you need help on is OK. I can do your episodes of your serial fictions for you if you like. Everything is basically one buck for each 500 words.

This isn’t about whether the plot is good or not. That is up to you and what you want to say, so I’ll not try to judge that. Nor is it about fixing story structure; there are others that can show you that far better. My job won’t be to tell you what you did right and wrong either. I will just find certain things I think you can make better, and offer some suggestions for them. My suggestions don’t mean I think your story is bad, just that this can improve it.
